My brother in law, Karl, has tools and knows how to do stuff with them. It's a good thing too, 'cause I was pretty worried about cutting a big hole in something that I want to call a house. He claims it was fun - and that might be - but if he wasn't married to my sis, Cathy, I don't know if this job would have gotten completed so easily. The door is fantastic and I think it looks great. It's just what I wanted. We chopped out a big hole, fit the door into it, and screwed it in place with some caulk for waterproofness and good measure. Here are some pictures.
